The Hidden Truth Behind Getting Ripped

Being ripped signifies a trophy. It is easy to say you work out, but it’s a whole other story when your body does the speaking for you. Being shredded shows that you are dedicated. It shows that you eat clean, and train like an animal. Being muscular and having a low body fat is what will make you feel like a warrior.

To achieve a ripped and aesthetic physique, one must first know where they stand. A 300 pound man can’t suddenly become a Greek god just by dreaming. He must first understand that he is overweight, then make small goals for himself. First he must lose his first 5 pounds. Then he must lose the next 5, and so on. But here’s the secret: everyone hits the treadmill expecting to look great after but that’s just not how it works. To lose fat, you need to be at a caloric deficit and yes the treadmill does help with that. To lose fat and look great however, one must also be doing some sort of muscular workout. Being in a caloric deficit will burn fat but will also burn some muscle along with it. Weight training while also doing cardio will help prevent your body from burning muscle in the catabolic state. Lack of weight training/calisthenics and only doing cardio is what not many people know. This is what holds many people back. Eat clean, train like an animal, sleep like a king, demolish your goals and never give up.
