The feature of satisfying is text type. We need to convert them to numeric first. so:
‘Very dissatisfied’: 0,
‘Slightly dissatisfied’: 1,
‘Neither satisfied nor dissatisfied’: 2,
‘Slightly satisfied’: 3,
‘Very satisfied’: 4

We draw a box plot according to the level of satisfaction, figure JobSat is for satisfaction of job; figure CareerSat is for satisfaction of Career:

From these plots, we can find most people in United States, Canada, Germany, United Kingdom they are satisfying their career while they are not very satisfy their current job. Both China and India feel bad about their current job, but people in India enjoy their career more.

After we find China and India have lowest satisfaction for their job, we trying to figure out the reason behind it. Maybe because low income? Let’s find out!

The result echo our prediction, most people’s income in China and India is less than 50K. There even no one has more than 200K income in China at all. The distribution in USA is impressive as well, most people have decent income, more than 90% people can earn at least 50K a year.

Surprise! WeChat got the first place! In my impression that major users of WeChat are Chinese. Which means Chinese who are living in USA has the highest income among Stackoverflow users. That’s really interesting!
